    • Place all ingredients except gyoza wrapper into a large bowl
    • Mix gently with hands

    Fill Dumplings:

    • Open gyoza wrappers, and cover with a towel to prevent them from drying out
    • For dumplings, fill each gyoza wrapper with about 1 teaspoon filling

    • Pinch shut, and gather, and set on a cookie sheet

    • Place in freezer for at least 30 minutes, up till overnight

    Cook Dumplings:

    • Heat a small amount of canola oil in a large fry pan and place frozen dumplings into pan
    • Watch dumplings close and turn, once browned
    • When dumplings are browned on each side, add in enough water to come up half way
    • Cover, and allow to steam
    • Steam for at least 20 minutes to ensure the meat cooks
    • Uncover ½ way thru
    • Allow water to steam off, until the dumplings get crispy
    • Add additional oil if needed

    Making Meatballs instead of dumplings:

    • These dumplings are delicious as is. If you want to make them gluten free, you can prepare them as meatballs.
    • Roll meat mixture into walnut size balls
    • Brown on all sides over medium heat
    • Place on a parchment paper covered cookie pan with sides
    • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes

    Make meatball sauce:

    • Mix together sauce ingredients
    • Gently warm sauce in a pan
    • Add meatballs to coat
    • Serve on platter with picks for guests

    Orange Ginger Marmalade Sauce:

    • 1/3 cup soy sauce
    • 3 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar
    • 1 Tablespoon black sesame seeds
    • Either way, they are so delicious dipped into the savory, spicy sauce.
