Dreaming of a beach vacation that involves mango margaritas on the rocks on repeat? Same. We love making these mango margaritas using fresh mangos! The flavor of the mango mixed with the juice of fresh limes, Cara cara oranges, and of course, tequila will have you putting this cocktail on repeat all summer long!
These mango margaritas on the rocks, are how we like to serve them but feel free to put the ingredients into a blender with some ice for a frozen marg! Feel free to hit that 2 or 3 X button to make a pitcher of margaritas!
How to Peel a Mango using a Glass:

Mango Margaritas
Ingredients
- 4 ounces tequila
- 2 ounce Cointreau or other orange liqueur
- 2 limes
- 2 Cara Cara oranges
- 1 medium size mango
- Fresh mint or lemon balm for garnish
Instructions
Slice the mango in half by slicing down around either side of pit. Slice 2 long wedges for garnish, leaving skin on, and set aside. Using a glass or the cocktail shaker, peel the mango skin off by sliding it down the rim.
Place mango into cocktail shaker and muddle. Add the juice of the limes and oranges into the cocktail shaker. Add tequila, cointreau, and ice, and shake.
Place 1 large ice cube each into small cocktail glasses. We use Waterford Crystal.
Double strain margarita over ice, and garnish with a wedge of mango and a sprig of lemon balm or mint. Cheers!
