When the weather warms up, watermelon wine ice cubes show up in our freezer. They are so easy to make! Seriously, while I am cutting up the watermelon for lunch, I make sure to get out the silicone ice cube trays and a bottle of white wine.
Because the watermelon is so sweet, we use a dry white wine or a dry rosé to make these wine-cubes. They don’t freeze up completely rock solid, but because of the water content, in the watermelon, they still freeze!
Watermelon wine cubes will keep for a few week in your fridge. But since white wine is on the high rotation in the Summer, they won’t last long!
