Spicy Bloody Mary Mix

This spicy bloody Mary mix is perfect for brunch and adds a little extra heat to the classic cocktail. Whether you prefer it with or without vodka, this mix is sure to impress your guests. Enjoy!

Recently we enjoyed a bloody Mary flight that used rosemary and jalapeño vodka. These infused vodkas are simple to make. Merely add a few sprigs of rosemary to one mason jar and a sliced jalapeño to another. Then cover with vodka and allow to steep for a few days. were made with rosemary and pepper infused vodka. The fun part is making some incredible bloody Mary garnishes! We use peppers, tomatoes, smoky bacon candy and olives. And of course celery!

How to make a Bloody Mary:

Add 2 parts bloody mary mix to 1 part vodka. This can be made as a single cocktail, using 2 ounces of vodka, and 4 ounces of bloody mary mix. You can also make it in a pitcher, using 2 cups vodka and 4 cups bloody mary mix. Serve over ice with garnishes.

Garnish ideas for a Bloody Mary Bar:

1. Celery stalks
2. Pickle spears or speared cocktail pickles
3. Lemon or lime wedges
4. Olives (green, black, or stuffed)
5. Candied bacon
6. Cherry tomatoes
7. Spicy pickled green beans
8. Shrimp or other seafood (cooked and chilled)
9. Jalapeño slices or pickled jalapeños for added heat
10.Mini cornichons (small pickled gherkins)
11. Fresh celery leaves or microgreens for added freshness
12. Hot sauce selection for guests to add their preferred level of spice.

These garnishes can be arranged neatly on a separate table or tray, allowing guests to pick and choose their desired toppings to customize their Bloody Marys according to their preferences. Encourage creativity and exploration by providing a wide variety of options.

Ingredients

  • 48 ounces Tomato Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Sriracha Hot sauce
  • ¼ cup Worcestershire
  • 3 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili lime powder
  • 5 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoon smoked salt more to taste

Instructions

  • In a large glass pitcher, mix all ingredients. Adjust to add more salt or cayenne to taste. Chill in refrigerator for at least a few hours, up to overnight. Store any unused mix in a mason jar.
