Summer Cherry Sea Breeze

A Sea Breeze drink doesn’t have to be the traditional one. We like to mix it up a bit with seasonal fruit. A Sea Breeze Drink consists of cranberry juice, grapefruit juice, and vodka. We switched it up with some available fresh fruit. We stuck with vodka, and squeezed our grapefruit fresh. We also squeezed in the juice of an orange. Lastly we muddled in a few Ranier cherries.

A star is born! Summer Cherry Sea Breeze! With fresh Ranier cherries only available for a short time, make this summer cherry sea breeze drink soon!

What you will need to make a SUMMER CHERRY SEA BREEZE DRINK:

If you plan to make up a large batch of these, you can use purchased grapefruit juice, and orange juice, or you can squeeze it fresh. You can use sweet northern cherries, if you can not find Ranier cherries. Your drink will just be a brighter pink if you use the northern cherries.

The cocktail skewers can be the throw away kind from a party supply store, if you are having over guests. This way they can toss them, and you won’t have to worry about losing any, or finding them jamming your garbage disposal. (I know this from doing this on more than one occasion).

If you are not a grapefruit fan, you can substitute orange juice, but add half a lemon to give it the tartness that you will need to complement the sweetness of the cherries and oranges.
